Egypt’s 7 firms mull executing Africa’s tunnels, infrastructure projects
Egypt’s seven major firms, which are operating in the country’s construction and buildings sectors, study carrying out tunnels flagships and infrastructure works in Mauritius, 2,000km (1,200 miles) off the southeast coast of Africa.
This comes as part of the companies’ scheme to expand their business volume in foreign markets and African continent, said Chairman of Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors (EFCBC) on Saturday.
Hassan Abdel Aziz further added that the seven firms have visited Africa and hold meetings with the ministers of Housing, infrastructure, and social affairs in order to discuss ways of working there.
