Egypt’s Sisi arrives in Ismailia for Suez Canal project anniversary

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrived Saturday morning in Ismailia on the first anniversary of the Suez Canal extension project.

Al-Sisi, accompanied by Minister of Defence and Military Production Sedky Sobhi and officials of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority, inaugurated industrial projects serving the infrastructure of the canal. The president is expected to visit and inaugurate other projects including the New Ismailia city.
