Egypt President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Monday stressed the country’s keenness to enhance cooperation with oil and gas giant Eni and called for expanding exploration and production activities to maximise the country’s natural resources.
Meanwhile, Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi reviewed the company’s operations in Egypt and its current and future plans for gas exploration and production during a meeting with President Sisi on the sidelines of Egypt Energy Show (EGYPS 2025) in Cairo.
Eni chief reaffirmed the company’s commitment to its strategic partnership with Egypt, citing the country’s role as a regional hub for energy and liquefied natural gas (LNG) and its significant untapped potential in the sector
