Egypt’s Sisi, France’s Macron to meet in Cairo

French President Emmanuel Macron is set to meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Cairo on Wednesday, Macron’s office said.

Macron is heading to Egypt after visiting Israel, Palestine, and Jordan.

During his visit to Israel, he said that the U.S.-led coalition who fought against Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria should include the fight against the Palestinian militant group Hamas in Gaza.

Israel has been attacking Gaza for 18 days in a row, killing around 6,000 innocent civilians.
