Egypt’s stock exchange indexes close higher, EGX 30 adds 0.29% on Sunday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended higher on Sunday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index rising 0.29 percent to 11,360 points buoyed by foreign investors’ buying appetite.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) added 0.78 percent to 2,022 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped advanced 0.74 percent to 13,276 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 gained 0.97 percent to 2,961 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 grew 1.29 percent to 2,152 points.

Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth 1.4 billion Egyptian pounds ($89.1 million) to close at 632.555 billion pounds on Sunday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Sunday, the trading value has approximately reached 1.9 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 544 million securities executed 49,901 transactions.
