Egypt’s stock exchange indexes end mixed, EGX 30 falls 0.24% on Sunday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended mixed on Sunday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index dropping 0.24 percent to 11,434 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) added 2.2 percent to 1,860 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped inched lower by 0.13 percent to 13,370 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 gained 1.7 percent to 2,779 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 rose 0.97 percent higher to 2,058 points.
Market Cap
Total market capitalisation gained around 4 billion Egyptian pounds ($252.1 million) at the end of Sunday’s trade.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Sunday, the trading value reached 1.43 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost amounted to 448 million securities executed over 47,400 transactions.
