Egypt’s stock indices end mostly lower, EGX 30 gains 0.04 on Monday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended mostly lower on Monday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index solely increasing, closing at 11,450 points, 0.04 percent higher compared to Sunday’s session.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) fell 0.71 percent to 2,261 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped dipped 0.01 percent to 13,928 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 dropped 0.73 percent to 3,250 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 inched down by 1.08 percent at 2,305 points.

Total market capitalisation has incurred losses worth 1.5 billion Egyptian pounds ($95.5 million) to close at 679.837 billion pounds on Monday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Monday, the trading value has approximately reached 3.2 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 629.9 million securities executed 50,807 transactions.
