Egypt’s stock indices open higher at mid-week session

Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) started the mid-week session with a collective rise of all its indices, after they closed higher yesterday.

The main market index EGX30 jumped to 0.67 percent to reach 9920.65 points, while EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.72 percent and reach 2192.77 points,

However, the Equal Weight Index EGX50 EWI and EGX100 EWI gained the same increase which 0.47 percent and they record 1888.01 points.

Elsewhere, EGX30 Capped rose at 0.35 percent to reach 12206.11 points.
