Egypt’s stock market indices close higher, EGX 30 increases 0.58% on Monday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended higher on Monday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index adding 0.58 percent to 11,278 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) hiked 0.47 percent to 2,189 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped went up 0.35 percent to 13,738 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 surged 0.43 percent to 3,182 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 rose 0.05 percent at 2,301 points.

Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth 2.1 billion Egyptian pounds ($134.2 million) to close at 671.5 billion pounds on Monday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Monday, the trading value has approximately reached 10.4 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 603.771 million securities executed 48,372 transactions.
