Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed mostly higher on Sunday, with the main index, EGX30 adding 0.81 per cent, to 30,857.77 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 increased by 0.16 per cent to 3,299.04 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 dipped by 0.05 per cent, to 8,631.47 points.
The EGX100 Index rose by 0.21 per cent, to 11,935.95 points.
The total market capitalisation reached 2,279,098,574,328 Egyptian pounds.
Egyptians were net buyers with a total of 21,328,002 Egyptian pounds. On the other hand, Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were sellers with 4,401,525 Egyptian pounds, and 16,926,477 Egyptian pounds, respectively.

- Shares of Prime Holding (PRMH.CA) jumped by 19.58 per cent, to close at the price of 1.014 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Ismailia Development and Real Estate Co (IDRE.CA) climbed by 11.27 per cent, to trade at the price of 22.700 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Digitise for Investment and Technology (DGTZ.CA) surged by 7.97 per cent, to the purchasing price of 2.710 Egyptian pounds a share.

- Shares of Cairo Oils & Soap fell by 5.84 per cent, to close at 0.371 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of El Orouba Securities Brokerage declined by 4.55 per cent, to close at 1.050 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Osool ESB Securities Brokerage dropped by 4.44 per cent, to close at the price of 1.290 Egyptian pounds a share.
