Egypt’s stock market ends higher, EGX 30 advances 0.43% on Wednesday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index gaining 0.43 percent to 10,557 points buoyed by foreign investors’ buying appetite.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) also grew 1.57 percent to 1,850 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped rose 0.52 percent to 12,394 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 inched up 1.33 percent to 2,707 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 climbed 1.32 percent to 1,966 points.

Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth 5.1 billion Egyptian pounds ($324.4 million) to close at 608.432 billion pounds on Wednesday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Wednesday, the trading value has approximately reached 1.1 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 256.04 million securities executed 30,630 transactions.
