Egypt’s stock market ends lower, EGX 30 falls 0.26% on Monday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed lower on Monday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index falling 0.26 percent to 10,429 points due to foreign investors’ selloff.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) also tumbled 1.82 percent to 1,820 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped dropped 0.74 percent to 12,285 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 inched down 1.70 percent to 2,672 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 slid 1.59 percent to 1,940 points.

Total market capitalisation has incurred losses worth 713 million Egyptian pounds ($45.3 million) to close at 600.371 billion pounds on Monday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Monday, the trading value has approximately reached 2.4 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 437.3 million securities executed 44,888 transactions.
