Egypt’s stock market indices close lower, EGX 30 falls 0.28% on Thursday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended lower on Thursday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index tumbling 0.28 percent lower to 10,987 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) fell 1.28 percent lower to 2,093 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped edged down 0.49 percent to 13,157 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 dropped 1.35 percent to 3,040 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 declined 1.10 percent up to 2,230 points.

Total market capitalisation has incurred losses worth 3.3 billion Egyptian pounds ($210 million) to close at 650.229 billion pounds on Thursday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Thursday, the trading value has approximately reached 2.2 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 513 million securities executed 46,261 transactions.
