Egypt’s stock market indices close mixed, EGX 30 falls 0.21% on Thursday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed mixed on Thursday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index tumbling 0.21 percent to 10,845 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) rose 0.66 percent to 2,145 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped dropped 0.33 percent to 13,245 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 advanced 0.33 percent to 3,097 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 edged down 0.22 percent at 2,235 points.

Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth 464 million Egyptian pounds ($29.5 million) to close at 650.867 billion pounds on Thursday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Thursday, the trading value has approximately reached 1.6 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 462 million securities executed 41,100 transactions.
