Egypt’s stock market indices end lower, EGX 30 dips 0.01% on Wednesday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index dipping 0.01 percent lower to 11,018 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) edged 1.27 percent lower to 2,120 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped went up 0.08 percent to 13,222 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 tumbled 1.05 percent to 3,082 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 lost 0.62 percent up to 2,255 points.

Total market capitalisation has incurred losses worth 1.6 billion Egyptian pounds ($101.9 million) to close at 653.569 billion pounds on Wednesday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Wednesday, the trading value has approximately reached 3.16 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 778 million securities executed 52,993 transactions.
