Egypt’s stocks close higher, benchmark EGX 30 adds 0.03% on Sunday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended higher on Thursday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index inching up 0.03 percent to 11,603 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) surged 1.18 percent to 2,443 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped rose 0.30 percent to 14,208 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 advanced 1.04 percent to 3,476 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 added 0.69 percent at 2,416 points.

Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth more than 3.5 billion Egyptian pounds ($223 million) to close at 709.761 billion pounds on Sunday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Sunday, the trading value has approximately reached 6.06 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 812.655 million securities executed 58,949 transactions.
