Egypt’s stocks close higher on Tuesday, benchmark EGX 30 slightly 0.01% up
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index slightly rose 0.01 percent to 10,740 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) surged 1.81 percent to 1,988 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped increased 0.06 percent to 13,083 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 edged up 1.37 percent to 2,940 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 climbed 1.56 percent to 2,053 points.
