Egypt’s stocks close lower on Tuesday, benchmark EGX 30 falls 0.43
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index falling 0.43 percent to 11,417 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) inched down 0.99 percent to 2,293 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped dropped 0.41 percent to 14,082 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 also decreased 0.75 percent to 3,326 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 lost 0.63 percent to 2,316 points.

Total market capitalisation has on Tuesday incurred losses worth 2.2 billion Egyptian pounds ($140.2 million) to close at 700.447 billion pounds.
