Egypt’s stocks end in green on Tuesday, benchmark EGX 30 adds 1.23%
Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) finished higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index surging by 1.23 percent to 11,276 points.
EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) hiked by 1.89 percent to 1,854 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped climbed by 1.71 percent to 13,632 points. In addition, the equal weights index, EGX 50 added 1.60 percent to 1,924 points.
The all-embracing index, EGX 100 went 1.86 percent higher to 2,839 points.
Market Cap
The country’s market capitalisation has posted gains worth 8.9 billion Egyptian pounds ($566.1 million), ending the trading at 710.895 billion pounds.

Trading value has approximately reached around 1.032 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded around 298.776 million securities executed 32,133 transactions.
