Egypt’s stocks end in mixed notes on Monday, benchmark EGX 30 tumbles 1.19%
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended in mixed notes on Monday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index tumbling 1.19 percent to 10,738 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) jumped 2.39 percent to 1,952 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped fell 0.74 percent to 13,075 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 gained 1.54 percent to 2,901 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 added 1.57 percent to 2,022 points.

Total market capitalisation has on Monday incurred losses worth 2.8 billion Egyptian pounds ($178.3 million), ending the trading at 652.578 billion pounds.
