Egypt’s stocks end lower on Monday as main index EGX 30 falls 0.3%
Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) end lower on Monday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index falling by 0.3 percent to 11,403 points.
EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) dropped by 0.96 percent to 1,963 points.
The all-embracing index, EGX 100 tumbled by 0.81 percent to 2,960 points.
Market Cap
The country’s market capitalisation has incurred losses worth around 4.1 billion Egyptian pounds ($261.4 million), ending the trading at 722.554 billion pounds due to local and Arab investors’ selloff.
