Egypt’s stocks end mixed on Monday, benchmark EGX 30 adds 0.15%
Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) has closed in mixed notes on Monday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index rising 0.15 percent to 11,046 points.
EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) dipped 0.08 to 2,885 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped increased 0.03 percent to 13,359 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 fell 0.06 to 3,863 points. In addition, the equal weights index, EGX 50 grew 0.27 percent to 2,405 points.
Market Cap
The country’s market capitalisation has on Monday posted gains worth 775 million Egyptian pounds ($49.2 million), ending the trading at 720.535 billion pounds driven by by Arab and foreign investors’ buying appetite.
