Egypt’s stocks end mixed on Tuesday as benchmark EGX 30 adds 0.65%
Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) has closed in mixed notes on Tuesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index adding 0.65 percent to 10,783 points.
EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) fell 0.14 percent to 2,679 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 kept unchanged 3,630 points.
Market Cap
The country’s market capitalisation has made gains on Tuesday worth 2.7 billion Egyptian pounds ($171.8 million), ending the trading at 707.218 billion pounds backed by Arab investors’ buying appetite.
Trading Aggregates
Trading value has approximately reached around 5.8 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 566 million securities executed 32,000 transactions.
