Egypt’s stocks end week mixed, benchmark EGX 30 inches 0.36% higher
Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed in mixed notes on Thursday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index inching 0.36 percent higher to 10,453 points.
EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) fell by 0.29 percent to 1,867 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped went up by 0.47 percent to 12,933 points. In addition, the equal weights index, EGX 50 rose by 0.01 percent to 1,856 points.
The all-embracing index, EGX 100 dipped by 0.09 percent to 2,815 points.
Market Cap
The country’s market capitalisation has posted gains worth 968 million Egyptian pounds ($61.5 million), ending the trading at 681.442 billion pounds.

Trading value has approximately reached around 995.937 million pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded around 264.914 million securities executed 32,042 transactions.
