Egypt’s stocks end week mostly in green on Thursday, 20 Nov., 2025

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mostly higher on Thursday, with gains across broader indices offsetting a slight decline in the benchmark EGX30.

The EGX30 index, which tracks the country’s largest and most liquid companies, dropped 0.51 per cent to 40302.39 points.
The EGX33 Shariah index rose 0.05 per cent to 4295.24 points, while the EGX35-LV was 0.22 per cent higher to 4494.54 points.

Among smaller stocks, the EGX70 for SMEs added 0.28 per cent to 12300.63 points, and the EGX100 broader index went up 0.16 per cent to 16293.49 points.

Market capitalisation closed at 2,87 trillion Egyptian pounds.
Egyptian investors were net buyers, with a total of 4.504 billion pounds, while Arab and foreign investors recorded net sales of 65.497 million pounds and 4.438 billion pounds, respectively.
