Egypt’s stocks in red, benchmark EGX 30 falls 0.29% on Thursday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended trading lower on Thursday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index falling 0.29 percent to 11,380 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) plummeted 1.09 percent to 2,350 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped dropped 0.18 percent to 14,049 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 also lost 0.85 percent to 3,374 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 edged down 0.85 percent to 2,362 points.

Total market capitalisation has on Thursday incurred losses worth 3.3 billion Egyptian pounds ($210.8 million) to close at 697.118 billion pounds.
