Egypt’s stocks start week higher as benchmark EGX 30 adds 0.63%
Indexes of Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) ended trading higher on Sunday as the benchmark EGX 30 index adding 0.63 percent to 10,810 points.
EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) advanced 1.66 to 2,809 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped rose 0.28 percent to 13,268 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 surged 1.38 percent to 3,793 points. In addition, the equal weights index, EGX 50 went up 0.56 percent to 2,390 points.

The country’s market capitalisation has on Sunday posted gains worth 5.5 billion Egyptian pounds ($350.1 million), ending the trading at 707.149 billion pounds buoyed by Arab investors’ buying appetite.
