Egypt’s stocks start week higher, benchmark EGX 30 solely dips by 0.03%
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed higher on Sunday, while the benchmark EGX 30 index solely dipped 0.03 percent to 10,868 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) climbed 3.47 percent to 1,907 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped rose 0.17 percent to 13,173 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 surged 2.43 percent to 2,857 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 advanced 1.99 percent to 1,990 points.

Total market capitalisation has on Sunday posted gains worth 3.7 billion Egyptian pounds ($236.1 million), ending the trading at 655.375 billion pounds.
