Egypt’s mobile network companies stated that they will increase their service prices by 10–16 percent starting in February 2024, marking the first increase since 2017.
This comes after telecom companies urgently requested the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) to allow them to review their pricing structures.
Etisalat Egypt has increased its monthly subscription costs by 15 percent; WE has raised the prices of its services by 10–15 percent; Orange is increasing the price of its monthly packages by about 16 percent; and Vodafone has notified its customers of an increase in prices starting in February.
