Egypt’s Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics (CAPMAS) revealed on Saturday that the trade balance deficit fell by 47.7 percent or $2.32 billion during June 2023, down from $4.43 billion for the same month the previous year.
Egypt’s exports fell by 27.6 percent, reaching $2.91 billion during June 2023 compared to $4.02 billion for the same month the previous year, according to CAPMAS monthly report.
However, Egypt’s imports value decreased by 38.1 percent to reach $5.23 billion during June 2023, compared to $8.45 billion for the same month the previous year, the report mentioned.
