Egypt’s trade balance deficit rose by 4.3 percent in May to $3.74 billion, compared to $3.57 billion in May 2022, the Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics (CAPMAS) reported on Tuesday.
The Egyptian exports fell by 20.9 percent in May to reach $3.38 billion compared to $4.28 billion for the same month the previous year, due to a decline in the value of exports of some goods.
