Trade exchange between Egypt and Belarus reached $108 million in 2018, Egyptian commercial representative to Belarus Nasser Hamed said.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is currently visiting the Eastern European country for talks on ways to boost economic and trade ties.
Egyptian exports to Belarus stood at $25 million in 2018 and included agricultural products, heaters and medicine, Nasser told state news agency MENA. Imports included oils, chemicals, vehicles and tractors, he added.
Twenty-seven Belarusian companies are operating in Egypt in the fields of industry, tourism and construction, he said.
