Egypt’s trade with China rises 2.1% in seven months

Volume of trade exchange between Egypt and China rose 2.1 percent to $7.69 billion during the first seven months this year, China’s General Administration of Customs said on Monday.

Chinese exports to Egypt stood at $6.94 billion during the January-July 2019 period, the administration said in a statement.

China’s imports from Egypt amounted to $750 million.
