Egypt’s transport provider Egytrans H1 revenues shrink 45.4%
Egyptian Transport and Commercial Services Company’s (Egytrans) first half revenues fell 45.4 percent to 124.1 million Egyptian pounds ($7 million), said chief executive and managing director Abeer Lehata on Sunday.
Net profit after taxes dropped 59.5 percent to 25 million pounds during the first half of the current year from 61.6 million pounds during the same period last year, the company’s consolidated financial statements showed.
Net profit margin declined 20.1 percent, compared with 27.1 percent last year.
Revenues reduced 42.8 percent to 105.6 million pounds during the first half of this year, according to standalone financial statements.
