Egypt’s Urban Consumer Inflation Eases To 8.3% In May

Egypt’s urban consumer inflation eased to 8.3 percent in the 12 months to May from 8.8 percent in April, Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics showed on Sunday.

The urban consumer price index for May was 123.5 versus 114 a year earlier, Reuters reported.
