El Sewedy Developments in talks for New Alamein’s land plot
Egyptian El Sewedy Electricity Holding Company’s subsidiary, El Sewedy Developments says it is negotiating with Ministry of Housing to attain a land plot in New Alamein City, northwest of Cairo.
El Sewedy Developments has recently obtained three land plots in three new cities, with a total space of 5.5 million square metres, said its chief executive Mohamed El Kammah on Sunday.
New Alamein is one of the fourth generation cities being built in Egypt in some of the most up-to-date architectural styles, and is scheduled to be finalised in one-year timeframe.
The under construction city is planned to have universities and schools as well as various services and tourist activities. It is expected to accommodate 400,000 populations.
