El-Sewedy Electric, a leading wires, cables, and integrated energy solution provider in MENA and Africa, has signed a contract with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETE) as part of a consortium to improve Cairo’s regional control centre on a turnkey basis.
The consortium includes NARI Group Corporation, EgyTech Cables, Huawei International Corporation Ltd, and Huawei Technologies Egypt Company.
The project’s total value is worth 1.2 billion Egyptian pounds, while EgyTech’s share is estimated at 583.7 million pounds, the company said in a statement.
The contract is scheduled to be implemented over 20 months starting from receiving the advance payment.
