President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has attended the graduation ceremony of the 108th batch of the Egyptian Military Academy on Tuesday, June 24th.
Former president Adly Mansour, Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, Defense Minister Colonel General Sedki Sobhi, and chief-of-Staff Lt. General Mahmoud Hegazi have attended the ceremony.
Several governors and public figures and families of the graduates also were at the ceremony.
The national anthem was played upon Sisi’s arrival at the academy. A military parade then started.
The deputy director of the Military Academy then announced the results of exams taken by batch as endorsed by the Defense Minister.
The new graduates are of the finest sons of Egypt, said Director of the Academy Major General Mohamed Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Wahab in his speech at the ceremony, noting that they are scientifically and technologically qualified in a way that they constitute a new start for the Armed Forces.
