Mr. Khaled Ibrahim, Chairman of Engineering Export Council of Egypt, said the electronic industries are most affected by raising the dollar prices.
Ibrahim, in his statements to “Amwal Al Ghad”, said the dollar crisis led to increasing the productive costs by 7%, which threatens the competitive advantage of the sector’s products whether in the local market or the exterior one.
The Engineering Export Council is making up ongoing plans to treat the failures transpired to the sector during the last period via opening new markets abroad in addition to follow up with the government to support the sector’s production.
