Elhamy El Zayat : “Sharia” Protests May Affect Tourism

Elhamy El Zayat, Chairman of Egyptian Tourism Federation, warned of the repercussions of the renewed calls for Friday Sharia protests; referring that what happened last Friday aroused the inquiries of flights organizers from different markets about Egypt’s political future.

There are some who inquired that: Will Egypt become an Iranian example?, especially that last Friday Sharia (Islamic law) had an affect over detaining 72 tourists last week.
