Email Marketing Occupies First Rank

Email Marketing has occupied the first rank all over the world by 65% in 2011, while social networking websites came in the second rank by 65% in 2011, followed by the optimum search engine that recorded 41%. On the other hand, marketing via mobile, public relations and organization of events have recorded varying degrees, according Sofitex for electronic marketing.

The survey also added that the reason why email marketing won the first rank can be attributed to its great influence and low cost, and its ability to build trademark in the market. Moreover, it allows analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of the advertisements, strengthening the company’s relation with its customers, increasing the number of visitors on the company’s website, and facilitating interaction with the customer to get their feedback on the offers.

The number of internet uses all over the world has reached  2.27 billion in 2012, including 22 million in Egypt, which occupies  the second rank in the the number of internet users in Africa . Meanwhile, Africa recorded an increase in the number of internet users from 34 million to 140 million during the last five years.

It is worth mentioning that email marketing is a type of e-marketing, which is based on sending advertising messages to the customers by email.
