ENI to support Egypt healthcare with 400 hospital beds deals
Italy’s ENI will provide 400 hospital beds at a medical facility serving around one million people in Egypt, as part of its social investment initiatives, its senior executive said on Monday.
The announcement came during a meeting between Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly and Guido Brusco, ENI’s chief operating officer, on the sidelines of the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2026). Petroleum Minister Karim Badawy also attended.
Brusco said the healthcare project reflects ENI’s broader commitment to social development in Egypt, complementing its core energy operations.
Egypt has been actively seeking foreign investment in its energy sector while encouraging international partners to contribute to development initiatives that support local communities.
