The Board of Directors of “Etisal,” a civil society organization working in the sector of communications and information technology, will hold a meeting to discuss its role in the next period.
Dr. Mohamed Shedid, Manager of Etisal, stated that this meeting aims at evaluating the organization’s performance during the last period, in addition to setting the agenda of the next phase.
He noted that “Etisal” has launched Etisal Academy for Small Enterprises, in order to hold training programs in cooperation with IBM. The training aims to improve the skills of chairmen of the boards’ of small enterprises. He added that this training will last for 5 consecutive days and that the registration will be open as of the beginning of the current month.
In the first quarter of 2012, Etisal has provided about 13 training programs for member companies, including 143 employees. In the last quarter of 2011, it offered 10 programs for 134 employees. Etisal has also managed to build partnership with a number of organizations in Alexandria and Mansoura, and has become the leading representative of the telecommunications and information technology sector.
He also pointed out that the time of their meeting with the Minister of Communications and Information Technology has not been specified yet, adding that the aim of this meeting is to inform the Minister about Etisal and its vision of the sector during the next stage.
