Etisalat Egypt Saeed AlHamli CEO revealed that the company is currently negotiating with Telecom Egypt (TE)(ETAL-CA) to provide fixed phone services.
AlHamli told Amwal Al Ghad that Etisalat is considering the ways of financing International gateway licence to pass callings with EGP500 million, stressing that the outstanding value comes as a continuation of its international portal so as to allow passing international calls in favor of all networks.
Etisalat Egypt acquired its own international gateway licence in 2007, agreeing to pay 100 EGP per existing subscriber and 20 EGP for every new subscriber thereafter.
He added that his company will review the offer of participating in Broadband strategy by Sunday.
