Egypt’s trade exchange with the European Union recorded around €27.3 billion ($29 billion) during 2016, said Egyptian Minister of Trade Tarek Qabil on Thursday.
Qabil made these remarks following his meeting with Ivan Surkoš, Head of the European Union Delegation to Egypt, to discuss means of bilateral cooperation and boosting commercial exchanges as well as joint projects in the coming period.
“The EU is one of Egypt’s main strategic partners at both commercial and investment levels.” Qabil stated.
