EU investigates X over spreading hate speech

The European Union(EU) started an investigation with  Elon Musk‘s X, formerly twitter  over the possible spread of terrorist and violent content and hate speech, after Palestine’s Hamas attack on Israel.

On the other hand X, stated that it has removed hundreds of accounts it said are affiliated with Hamas to control violent speech.

In a related context Meta, which runs Facebook, said it removed or marked as disturbing  more than 795,000 pieces of content in Arabic and Hebrew.
