European markets briefing 12/05/2023

The European markets closed high on Friday with London’s main index, FTSE, rising by 0.31 percent to 7,754.62. The index gained 24.04 points, recording a day high value of 7,772.79 and a day low value of 7,729.01.

The German main index, DAX, climbed by 0.50 percent to close at 15,913.82, gaining 78.91 points. The index recorded a day high value of 15,938.01 and a day low value of  15,852.10.

The French main index, CAC 40, soared by 0.45 percent and gained 33.07 points to close at 7,414.85. The index recorded a day high value of 7,463.70 and a day low value of 7,395.60.
