European markets briefing 18/04/2023

The European markets closed high on Tuesday, with London’s main index, FTSE, rising by 0.38 percent. The index closed at 7,909.44 after it gained 29.93 points. It recorded a day high value of 7,912.73 and a day low value of 7,879.51.

The German DAX climbed by 0.59 percent to 15,882.67, gaining 93.14 points. The index recorded a day high value of 15,916.28 and a day low value of 15,802.75.

CAC 40, the French main index, soared by 0.47 percent and gained 35.45 points to close at 7,533.63. The index recorded a day high value of 7,559.35 and a day low value of 7,509.00.
