European shares dip ahead of Eurozone inflation data
European shares fell at the start of Wednesday’s trading, with investors cautious ahead of the release of eurozone inflation data.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index edged down by 0.29 per cent at 4:11 ET (8:11 GMT). Spain’s IBEX 35 saw a marginal decline of 0.01 per cent.
Germany’s DAX slipped by 0.04 per cent, France’s CAC 40 decreased by 0.27 per cent, and Switzerland’s SMI fell by 0.35 per cent.
Meanwhile, London’s FTSE 100 dropped by 0.35 per cent following the release of UK inflation data.
