European shares fall on weak PMI data

European shares fell on Monday at 7:12 ET (11:12 GMT) following negative Manufacturing PMI data. The pan-European STOXX 600 index dropped by 0.02 per cent.

Germany’s DAX declined by 0.12 per cent, France’s CAC 40 decreased by 0.19 per cent, and Switzerland’s SMI fell by 0.48 per cent. London’s FTSE 100 also inched 0.12 per cent lower.

The manufacturing sector experienced a downturn across the Eurozone, including Germany and France, contributing to the overall market decline.
